'Please feed me' from UPSIDE thinking

I share this as I couldn't put it any better myself.  Thank you Lisa for this great story. Please Feed Me! - Upside Thought of the Week -

Greetings,

Do you find it easy to be Upside, and find the opportunity in the challenge?

Or, do you struggle with finding the silver lining, and staying in the space of joy regardless of what is going on in your life?

Or, maybe you wonder why some mornings you wake up feeling like the eternal optimist, and by the afternoon you're full of doubt?

Often asked about my Upside attitude, and positivity, I'd like to share this Cherokee story with you.

An old Cherokee was speaking to his grandson about life.

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.

"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves. One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego."

He continued, "The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

And, the same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf will win?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

When you find yourself struggling to be Upside, think about which wolf you are feeding.

In your personal and professional life, do you start your day with gratitude, and build your hours, days, and weeks with thoughts of creativity, energy, and joy?

Or, do you center yourself in scarcity, lack, and want?

And, how about who you surround yourself with?

Do the people around you energize you and affirm who you are and where you're going?

Or, do they criticize your decisions, and your dreams?

Yes, the one you feed will succeed.

See Upside. Be Upside. Live Upside.
